PVP Settings Point of Reference
Here's how PVP damage calculation works:
- PVP damage is not random - it's calculated precisely.
- The calculation is based on the target character's total HP.
- Different character classes can have significantly different HP values
- The Swell Life buff without capacity combined with overstats can dramatically increase a character's HP.
- In these cases, we take into account the target's large HP pool when calculating damage to ensure the fight remains balanced even with full buffs from Ene Elf, Agi Wiz, Ene BK.
- Instant death may occur when SD Bypass hits or when the Swell buff status has ended without the Shield Protection.
- Testing different stat builds can improve damage output while also increasing the chance to endure incoming damage.
Why Arena/Stadium/Duel has 100% PVP Damage Rate
Arena, Stadium, and Duel Room have 100% damage settings
These areas are designed for:
- Serious 1v1 duels
- Guildwar
Buffers are not necessary in these areas
The 100% damage setting makes fights:
- More meaningful and strategic
- Balanced for pure skill-based combat
Healing Potions become:
- More useful
- Easier to manage during fights
Shield Protection Multiplier
Shield Protection (SD) has a multiplier. Here's why:
- Due to overstats, the original Shield Protection system without a multiplier becomes useless, as SD is depleted very quickly.
- The Yellow Options that rely on SD (like SD Bypass, SD Decrement, SD Ratio) would also become ineffective without the multiplier.
Note: SD does not regenerate, it only visually refreshed the display of the the remaining SD when taking damage while using Healing Potion.
